I created Supercell Fanbase on the 19th of July in 2019.
Back then, it was going by the name "dunkle clasher".
The server was intended to be a server to connect all of the existing dunkle clasher clans of which there were six in total, one located in each game and two in clash of clans.
With the server already fully set up, just very few Members of the clans actually joined. To not waste all that work, I decided to make Supercell Fanbase a public server. It turned out to be one of the best choices I could've made. Since the server was growing especially slow at first, it wasn't very noticeable. However, soon some people joined and decided to talk, and the chat became somewhat active. After some time, I realised that I had just made friends. Within the years to follow, every now and then some of those special people - soon-to-be friends - joined. Some of them have gone inactive because of busy real life, few just moved on, but the memories stay. The memories of late-night chats, laughter and this connection. Some of these people return every now and then when there's enough time and it's always just great. Some of those people stayed and are now helping me to maintain the server.
With the years passing by, the server evolved, with new channels, new images, and new people. A few months ago, somewhere at the beginning of 2022, we got finally rid of the alt accounts and the server was filled with people who were actually online. Just a few weeks later we met the requirements to be a discord partner, we got declined. But as soon as we hit these requirements, we shall try again.
Now that it's been three years since I clicked the "create server" button, I certainly can believe it to be that long ago.
